Foot prints at San Francisco

For shopping maniac...
This area could fulfill you perhaps...
Macy's, Gucci, Bvlgari, Christian Dior...
Levi's, Nike, Merrell....
All are within walking distance...
Sunny day....
Buildings follow buildings...
Not much trees you could find...
Ding ding ding....
Watch out for the cable car...
Ding ding ding...
One of the cable car route ends at this street...
Closest train station - Powell.
You could find many eatery and even shopping centers here of course...
Thanks for the ride!
Chinatown! What's good for breakfast?
DimSum!
Let's go look for it!
Wow, that's not Golden Gate Bridge..
That's the Bay Bridge ;)
After a long walk...
Finally...
The Shrimp Dumplings are so delicious!
It has a bit of scallop in it as well...
Gonna come here again before leaving the town...
Excuse me...
Just wanna snap a photo of the entrance...
This restaurant always so busy in the morning section...
You need to wait to get an available seat...
Sharing table with strangers!
A real typical Hong Kong Style!
Road sign in Cantonese as well...
Busy day..
Above: Hong Kong Restaurant everywhere...
A good one?
Hmm, go after those crowded one perhaps!
:p
Above:The time is just right!
For the North Beach Festival, 19-20 June!
Weekend, Saturday-Sunday.
Oh yeah, it's surely crowded!
A day for family outing..
A day for couple...
For vendors, merchandisers, etc...
@_._@
Take a look at the photo below...
See how steep is the street?
It goes all the way up, till you can't see the road going down from that end...
Haha, riding or driving down sure fun!
You could find variety of crafts, jeweleries, clothing...
Bags, hats, shawls....
BBQ oyster as well...
Etc..etc...
People busy looking around...
Hopping from one stall to another...
Enjoying every moment.
Colorful buildings...
I love colors...!
It's making things look so lively!
And happy too!
Go Go Go! Get the Go-Car!
Good exercise walking up here!
.... ..... ....
STOP!
Lombard, the crookedest street in the United States!
Steep hills, sharp curves and paved red bricks!
Beautiful mansions, condos, townhouses, etc...
Colorful flowers...
Tourists pouring the street daily around this area...
Rent a Go-Car, try your driving skill here!
But no, we did not go for that...

Reason:
Go-Car has few routes at your choice...
If you prefer to drive around the town without 'instructions'...
Then, drive your own automobile or rent one is not a bad idea at all.

Town briefing on wheels

The Open Top Sightseeing bus.
Touring around the city...
The best is to sit on the upper deck so that you could snap photos!
A jacket might be useful...
It's summer, it's hot but the wind is chilly...
Especially when crossing the bridge...
It's really windy.
Hippies street...
Here we are!
The highlights of the town.
Golden Gate Bridge.
You could even get off at the station and walk on foot crossing the bridge!
We tried that on the second day!
Not bad at all...
Sight seeing bus to the left (in red) & cable car to the right.
note: cable car always stop in the junction, most of the time...in the middle of the junction!
It stopped...haa...;)))
Up-hill?
Steep! Attention!
Up and down...roller coaster rides!
Walk around the town should you have sufficient time!
An interesting experience for first-timer!
At certain station, it's better to purchase tickets in advanced.
Family trip..how sweet!
Hold on tight, we're going down the hill folks!
Watch out! It could an inch close to pass-by cabs or any vehicles!
Fun huh?
^__^

Long Drive, stops en route!

Different species of tree than earlier treks, it's the Redwood...
It's really big....
Comparing the tree with human size, you can tell how big is the tree, I ain't joking.
Incredible!
Cold breeze, sound of the waves....
People come and go, just to snap a photo or two...
So do we...

Care for a swim?
Nah, don't think so.
It's cold and nobody do that here.

Journey continue...
In hurry...
Trying to reach our next destination before dark...
Clock is ticking...

Eventually!
Office closed...
Entrance $5, please remember to pay...
We did...
Incredible!
It's still growing...
There are branches and leaves on the top...
Look through the hole...
See?

It's 5000years old!
Surviving...The little wooden house...
It's truly worth for a visit!
Something you couldn't find in town!
