Early summer...
With rain and wind, still it's bit cold...
A hot chowder, ain't a bad idea at all...
Served with oven-fresh sourdough bread!

Love the scallops chowder...yummy!
The shrimp and curried chicken sandwich rolls...
Erm, not something I had expected...
Maybe you would like it?

Check out the Hale's Brewery & Pub!
For one that can't drink much, try the taster size ;)
Don't waste the beer!

Thought to have a try at the Malay Satay,
BBQ meat peanut sauce...
But surprisingly this place offered more of Chinese cuisine.
So eventually, we ordered some dishes with rice.
And....

Whoah! Sorry but mean no offense...
All the dishes are WAY TOO salty...
even the ginger...
That's probably the reason they serving super big bowl of rice...
I guess...
Haa....

Beckie's Restaurant, at the Union Creek Resort.
Famous for its homemade pies!
Worth a try...

Had a nice cup of hot soup and turkey sandwich.
Dessert with blueberry pie.
The other is roast meat toast (not just a toast but a special ones)!
Topped with heavy gravy,
well...maybe a bit too salty for us...
