A Sun Burn Hiking Day

Today is a perfect day for outdoor activity...
A sunny day...
Bright sky...
Good weather...
First stop, to the Lava Lands...

Due to limited parking at the summit...
Only half an hour time slot given to each vehicle for the visit...
But we were in luck that there weren't much visitor...
Hence, we were allowed to spend as much time as we want...

Observe the mountain...
Nothing left behind after the lava flows...
Half of the mountain...
You find no trees...

This is where I got the sunburn!
Sun shines brightly...
Through the skin...
I can feel it burning...
(note: sunblock is a must bring item)

Smith Rock!
A famous place for rock climbing!
And hiking for sure...
You can even jog if you want...
Or simply find a nice place for sun bathing...

Known as 'Monkey Face'...
It really does looks like one...
I wonder if this area could do the climbs...

Wow, it's possible!

There are few climbers on the top!
And one halfway trying hard climbing...
Cool...
