Tea Time

Every sip I took, refreshes me about some people...
I remember a friend of mine who is living in London now.
I remember how she love lavender.
I remember how bad she wanna go visit to Provence en France.
And, she made her dream came true.
Avec son mari.

I remember ma belle professeur.
Another lavender lover.
I remember a little story she told us.
Naughty tricks yet si mignon.
L'occitane...real lavande @ the display?
MDR XDXDXD...

I recalled EW's response.
'Which L'occitane you went to when you practice the trick?'
'So that I won't go to the same store!'
Cause the sales probably gonna say...
"Non non non, don't think about it! Someone tried that before!'
The chats were so amusing!

Some people...
You don't need to spend lots of time to be with them...
But they will leave you an impression,
That takes long enough time to fade in memory...
Or maybe it stays there forever.
You will think of them, every once in a while.

This is one of the reason I love...
And, enjoy my tea time.
I need to remind myself,
That I met these nice people.
So my friends,
Coffee, tea ou.....?

It is relaxing...

E-Code

Landlord came & fixed the security door!
Apparently, somebody complained about it.
Well, 'it' kinda put us into a difficult situation last month!
It was cold, almost midnight...
Dragging a tired body but felt so glad that home just a few steps away...

But, wait...
Did somebody changed the entrance code?
We kept trying the given code but it just didn't work!
Uh oh, who to call for help in the middle of the night?!
My goodness...

A couple living upstairs passed by & walked up the stairs!
(We thought they were the kids we saw chatting outside the main gate...)
"Excuse me" "Excuse me" ..we tried to get their help but they didn't hear us!
Or they didn't even aware we were actually calling them???
Oh My....

We turned around & thank God!
That two kids we saw, still at the main gate there!!
(That couple who just 'ignored' us, were some other person...)
The nice gal came & helped us, keying the same code for once or twice...
Still, failed...

Then she entered the code again with an asterisk.
And...it worked!
Our angel!
Finally, really home sweet home!
But, the door gone haywire since then.

Sometimes, it behaves good & v.v.
We opened the door few times for neighbors,
whenever we heard few code error alert in a row.
Thanks to those tenants who complained.
And now it's sane again!

After this incident...
I somehow have another view in mind...
Bringing keys is less troublesome than unable to enter the house!
Everything has two sides!
The positive and negative.

Something's Missing

Une table pour deux...
I think of my close friends when I saw this painting...
I think of coffee...
I think of pie...
I think of scones...
Things which are not on the 'menu'...
Ha~~~

An Inspiring Speech

"Find what you love, if you haven't found it yet, keep looking and don't settle."
"Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition."

"They somehow already know what you truly want to become."

"Everything else is secondary."

"Stay hungry, stay foolish."

A great and meaningful life lessons sharing from Steve Jobs.Indeed, a very inspiring speech.
It was a commencement speech he gave at Stanford University back in year 2005.
Full text of the speech is published on CNN, (link, below)
http://business.blogs.cnn.com/2011/10/06/life-lessons-steve-jobs-on-steve-jobs

Do spend a little time reading it.
We all have our ups and downs.
Most importantly, we must have the faith & courage to face it.
When there's a will, there's a way.

L'enfant

~~~
A un petit citadin qui découvre la campagne, une fermière explique:
'Tu vois, là, le coq, c'est le papa. La poule, c'est maman. Les poussins, ce sont leurs bébés.'
'Et celle-là, fait le gamin, en désignant une oie, c'est leur femme de ménage?'
~~~
I picked it from a book that has been long neglected by me.
Finds it amazingly humorous for the first time reading it.
As I read again after some time, I finds it sarcastic somehow.

Summary:
A city kiddo came to a countryside, said to a woman that,
The cock is the father, the hen is the mother, and the chicks are their babies.
He pointed to a goose and asked if that's their maid...? @@"

Are you laughing now?
Do you finds it funny?
Or, you don't feel anything at all...?

If the words aren't from a child...
But, how naive and innocent of a child could be now?
In the current society we living in...

Could we be too frank to people around us?
How would one accepts people that are straight forward?
As we age, we learned that, it is complicated...LOL

Words can hurt, words can even kill.
We are either too careful or care less in words we using each and every day.
Probably, living in a world of lies and disguise..

Anyhow, I wonder how the woman gonna response to that kid?
Is she going to say yeah? Or, just laugh it off..?
Or, is that even a real story?

How would YOU gonna response to that kid?

Jelly

Too cute to eat!
It's a little too sweet for me but my little nephew loves it!
He just grabbed the cow when he saw it...
No kids will say no to desserts (I think)...

Raining Season

It rained a lot lately...
On and off...
River overflow...
Flood..
Landslide...
Victims...
These news are the last thing we would want to hear...

Gloomy days...
Sluggish days...
Ah...
Miss the morning walks...
Walking tours...
Sunshine after the rain, yeah....
Soon....

Le Petit Monde Des Chapardeurs

I just watched this Japanese anime a couple of days ago, for 3 times! And, I am certain there will be a 4th time coming! Love the music, the songs, and of course not to mention the drawings and story board. The English title, literally called 'The Borrower, Arrietty'.

It makes me love miniatures even more! I really wonder if such world do exist? Probably. Who knows? We don't see it, doesn't mean it isn't there. Haa...Share with you, some nice collection from a Handmade Fair, held at World Trade Center, Seoul.

Finally, the shipment has arrived! What a long wait! Delivery guy couldn't find the given location and eventually sent it to the work place instead. Anyhow, thanks for the effort! It's cool & man I love this watch! Wonder how long does it take to actually see the beneficial health effects. Seems pretty awesome...that it could improve vitality, mood, sleep, relaxation, meditation. Not only that, it also has natural detoxification of the body and can increase your concentration! Wow, that's what I needed the most. Stay focus! Ha-Ha!

Traditional Medicine Ginseng Chicken Soup

Ginseng Chicken Soup is not unfamiliar in South Korea. This shop specialized in using more than one kind of traditional medicine (besides ginseng), which I am actually unsure of what it really is. Ha Ha. Anyhow, the soup is rather thick and the taste...I would not say it is bad. But, perhaps it is not really my type of soup. But, never try, never know! ;)

Innocent

Sir, I didn't on and off the light frequently.
My mom taught me it is wrong to do so since I was a kid.
So, I surely wasn't the one causing the 'partial' blackout in the apartment.
Maybe something else led to the short circuit?

Ah, he had no idea what went wrong.
But he was kind to get one dim light into the apartment (from outside).
At least the air-condition is working.
And the wall power for laptop isn't affected.

So, a romantic evening.
Working under dim-light.
Sunset mode is on.
How about a glass of wine?

Air Asia

It was 2220hours and the airport was extremely quiet.

Tiny But Not Small

This cute purple ball flower makes me act like a kid!
So adorable!
The flower I mean.
Pas moi...

~The Big Ball Alliums~
It's also called as 'big ball onions', best known as 'ornamental onions'..?
Take a closer look!
It's formed by so many tiny little flowers!!!

Allium 'Lucy Ball' is her name, if not mistaken.
Amazing, non?
You sees nothing if there is only one tiny little fleur.
But together in a spherical heads of bloom, it makes a huge different.

Somehow, it makes me have a thought...
That, one might not have much strength to do much...
But together, we can change the world.
Hold on, what's in your mind?

Just thinking that...
If each and everyone of us care to put a little effort...
In giving more love to our Mother Earth.
That would be a sweet & wonderful thing!

Tulips

I still could recall the first Tulip I received...
Was from a dear friend of mine.
A cut flower, yeah...
Watching it die slowly day after day...
It's saddening and depressing.
Because...
There is nothing you could do at all to change the situation.

And today, here I am...
Standing in this grand garden.
Watching colorful Tulips.
Indeed, I feel more than alive.
Delightful.
Just like them...

Color symbolism?
Red - love, passion, energy, desire, strength...
Yellow - Joy, happiness, optimism, hope, imagination...
Orange - Enthusiasm, vibrant, flamboyant, demanding of attention...
Purple - Mysterious, arrogance, wisdom, spirituality...
How accurate?

And Tulip symbolized...
Declaration of love.
Love in many way...
From family, friends, lovers...
Do you love Tulips?
Yes, I do.

Beautiful huh?
Makes you wanna dance with them in the garden.
Still, no one can change the life cycle.
She does not has an eternity life span.
She will ended up like the cut flower eventually.
That is the reason some people will suffer Spring Fever?

Learn to appreciate should be our daily practice.

La banane

Pourquoi la banane?
Je ne sais pas.

I was wondering why wearing a banana costume in a flower exhibition.
Maybe the color is sharp and bright..
And it cheers people up?

Or maybe it is just because...
It burst energy!
For there will be lots of walking in this grand park with limited snack bars?

Anyhow,
I surfed a bit and found out this link:
http://www.bananaplants.org/banana-nutrition-banana-benefits.html

Maybe we should consider changing the old quote that goes:
"An apple a day, keeps the doctor away"
to..."A banana a day, keeps you healthy at all time"

Spring Time @ Jeju-Do

Found this park while wandering around the museum.
Saw two photographer focusing on the petals...
I have no better word to describe this park...
There isn't much water flowing on the river...
It is covered by cherry blossom petals.
A pink river!
Samsunghyeol, another interesting point.
How nice and unique this tree grows!
So picturesque...
This recreational park, an ideal place for little work out!
Lots of elder people jogging around this area.
It's quite a fun place..
Another hidden park around the area.
I kicked, I danced, I jumped...
With a happy face all day long!
It's a short spring.
But going to have a long time memory.
A wonderful weekend here, @Jeju-Do.

Cherry Blossom

It's Spring!
And I have an appointment...
with,
these charming ladies...

A closer look at you...
You're beautiful...I whispered.
Yet, so delicate...

Faint pink makes you looks more fragile.
When the wind blows,
your soft petals follow them...

You're a performer..
You're a dancer..
And, the wind is your great partner...

You dance with the wind...
Gave me an unforgettable snowing show...
A sweet memory to cherish.

Jinhae Gunhangje Festival

The 49th Jinhae Gunhangje Festival.
From 4.01 ~ 4.10, takes place in Jinhae - The largest cherry blossom festival in Korea.
Tree-lined streets, of cherry blossom is the main attraction.
When wind blows, it is like 'snowing' of cherry blossom's petals.
Romantic and picturesque!

The river-view.
Full of joy and laughter..
Of course, not to mention street vendors.

Night falls, lights on.
Added another flavor to the festival.
