Spring Time @ Jeju-Do

Found this park while wandering around the museum.
Saw two photographer focusing on the petals...
I have no better word to describe this park...
There isn't much water flowing on the river...
It is covered by cherry blossom petals.
A pink river!
Samsunghyeol, another interesting point.
How nice and unique this tree grows!
So picturesque...
This recreational park, an ideal place for little work out!
Lots of elder people jogging around this area.
It's quite a fun place..
Another hidden park around the area.
I kicked, I danced, I jumped...
With a happy face all day long!
It's a short spring.
But going to have a long time memory.
A wonderful weekend here, @Jeju-Do.

Cherry Blossom

It's Spring!
And I have an appointment...
with,
these charming ladies...

A closer look at you...
You're beautiful...I whispered.
Yet, so delicate...

Faint pink makes you looks more fragile.
When the wind blows,
your soft petals follow them...

You're a performer..
You're a dancer..
And, the wind is your great partner...

You dance with the wind...
Gave me an unforgettable snowing show...
A sweet memory to cherish.

Jinhae Gunhangje Festival

The 49th Jinhae Gunhangje Festival.
From 4.01 ~ 4.10, takes place in Jinhae - The largest cherry blossom festival in Korea.
Tree-lined streets, of cherry blossom is the main attraction.
When wind blows, it is like 'snowing' of cherry blossom's petals.
Romantic and picturesque!

The river-view.
Full of joy and laughter..
Of course, not to mention street vendors.

Night falls, lights on.
Added another flavor to the festival.

110%

-Eh oui! Et c'est bien ce qui me désole.

A lady is talking about her expenses with a friend of her.
Telling her she spent 40% on food, 15% on lodging, 10% clothes, 12% for car, 18% for miscellanous fees like gas, electricity, insurance and etc while another 15% for entertainment.
Her friend replied,'But, that's already 110%!?'
She said 'Oh yeah, that's what bothering me..'

My mind paused half a second after I finished reading this 'joke'.
Thinking about those sad news I heard frequently lately.
Thoughts stirred.

We keep taking things for granted perhaps from our Mother Earth.
How much do we really give back in return?
One day, we gonna have to pay it all...

At once?
Slowly?
It's unknown...

Or, it's already happening now?
Is it too late to know by now?
Maybe, there is a lot more we could offer?

For a better tomorrow...
A brighter future...
Days we could wake up with a smile on our face.

TOUS les JOURS

A delicious green tea cake from Tous Les Jours!
Freshly bake, daily!
Tous les jours,
""" Everyday """
bread ~ that's fine with me.
cake ~ that's a little too much I think.

Les Cadeaux

Les petits cadeaux de le patron!
Little gifts from the boss!
A mirror & name card holder.

Merci! ;)

Annyeunghaseyo!

A busy Saturday morning for most of us perhaps...
Regardless which way...

I was watching this madam busy doing the rice rolls...
Seems so easy for her...
But difficult for some others...

Gimbap is how its call here.
Rice roll stuffed with few types of vege - carrot, cucumber, pickles & egg!
For the special ones, you may find...
Tuna, crab meat...

It's indeed quite common for breakfast or a quick meal.
Budget price, on-the-go and give you energy!
Or you could dine-in, enjoy it slowly with a miso soup and some kimchi!

コケコッコ

Eventually, found this recommended donburi shop!
Literally, it means a bowl of cooked rice top with a dish. Normally the topping would be like fried chicken /pork cutlet, shrimps, eel, raw tuna and etc.
And not to missed out, the egg and the onion with a special sauce topping above the cooked rice.

I had a combo of ebi/toridon ~ shrimp/chicken rice.
It wasn't bad and I think if the shrimp wasn't that 'over fried'...
it would be nicer.

I will be back someday, sometime...
Let's see if a 'change' of that would be possible?
Perhaps...improvement?

^_^
